About this grant
This funding opportunity supports not-for-profit organizations that provide disability benefits navigation services to help persons with disabilities and their families access benefits such as the Disability Tax Credit and Canada Disability Benefit. Projects must include individualized support, community partnerships, and participation in a Community of Practice. Funding is up to $1,000,000 over two years.
Who can apply
- Not-for-profit organizations
- Have an established disability benefits navigation service and/or experience and expertise in benefits navigation-related activities
- Must have a CRA business number
- Located and operating in Canada
- Only one application per organization
Who cannot apply
- For-profit organizations
- Individuals
- Provincial and territorial governments
- Activities associated with establishment or start-up of a service
- Research activities for academic or publication purposes
- Development of centralized online hubs or platforms
