About this grant
The Downtown Action Plan Fund invests up to $3 million in community-led projects that increase interest in and demand for downtown Edmonton. It supports projects in three streams: Programs and Activations, Recreational Amenities, and Placemaking and Beautification. Eligible applicants include community organizations and partners.
Who can apply
- Community-led projects
- Projects located within the Downtown Action Plan Boundary Map area
- Projects that align with one of the three funding streams: Programs and Activations, Recreational Amenities, or Placemaking and Beautification
Who cannot apply
- Projects outside the Downtown Action Plan Boundary Map area
- Projects that do not align with the three funding streams
Application process

- Submit the online application form
- Applications are accepted in intake periods (e.g., Feb 26-Mar 23, Mar 24-Apr 20, etc.)
- If a paper copy is required, email downtown@edmonton.ca
- Applications remain open while funds are available
