About this grant

Cisco Social Impact Investments provides catalytic funding, technology donations, and strategic guidance to nonprofits developing innovative, tech-enabled solutions that advance community well-being and self-reliance. Priority sectors include Crisis Response, Education, Economic Empowerment, and Climate Resilience. Funding is available through various programs, including Global Impact Cash Grants (open to concept notes) and Regional Solution Cash Grants (by invitation).

Who can apply

  • Nonprofit organizations leveraging technology to deliver programs and services
  • Organizations with solutions that can be replicated and scaled across geographies
  • Organizations committed to tracking progress and reporting transparently
  • Organizations with strong management capacity and proximity to communities served
  • Solutions fitting one or more priority sectors: Crisis Response, Education, Economic Empowerment, Climate Resilience

Who cannot apply

  • Organizations that do not adhere to Cisco's nondiscrimination, religious proselytizing, or anti-violence policies
  • Organizations engaged in advocacy, lobbying, or political activities contrary to Cisco policies
  • For-profit entities (unless through specific programs like Regenerative Future Fund)

  • For Global Impact Cash Grants: Submit a concept note online; if selected, you will be invited to apply.
  • For Regional Solution Cash Grants: By invitation only, nominated by Cisco employees.
  • For Splunk Cash Grants: By invitation only.
  • For India Cash Grants: Submit a concept note online.
  • For Regenerative Future Fund: Open to inquiries.
  • For Technology Grants: Apply online through the Cisco Technology Grant Program or Splunk Product Donation Program.
