About this grant
The Seniors Centre Investment Program (SCIP) provides funding to seniors centres in Edmonton that support the City of Edmonton in achieving the goal of Healthy City. Eligible centres are operated by not-for-profit organizations and serve adults aged 55 and older. The program distributes approximately $1.9 million annually to offset eligible operating costs.
Who can apply
- Operated by not-for-profit organizations
- Serve adults aged 55 and older
- Maintain regular hours of operation
- Offer a wide range of accessible programs and services including recreation, wellness, creative arts, education, social events, information and referral, volunteerism and social support

- For-profit organizations
- Organizations not serving adults aged 55 and older
- Organizations not located in Edmonton
